Frequently asked questions
Do I need new cameras?+−
Usually not. Your existing RTSP or ONVIF IP cameras are enough.
Is video sent to the cloud?+−
No. In on-premise and edge setups video never leaves your site; only license validation goes online and it can run offline for up to 7 days.
Can I add cameras later?+−
Yes. When you increase the camera count in your account, you're charged pro rata for the remaining period.
